Looking to take care of your good deed for the day? Stop by Jewish Family Services 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 for the neighborhood nonprofit?s baby shower, benefiting mothers in need.
Volunteers will collect new items, including diapers, food, wipes, ointment, soap and lotion ? but no toys. Monetary donations are also accepted. You can drop off your donations to the food pantry.
JFS provides services and resources for just about anyone in need ? children, adults and the elderly. The organization offers counseling, help with a job search, family violence prevention, mental health assistance and much more.
