Facebook finally started adding 'reply' buttons to comments

Keeping track of conversations in Facebook comments can be challenging. Everything's in a straight line and there's no indication which person is replying to which comment. Well, no more of that! Facebook's starting to add "reply" buttons to individual comments and grouping them accordingly.

Additionally, "the most active and engaging conversations [...] will be surfaced at the top" of posts, Vadim Lavrusik, Facebook's journalism program manager, explains in a note on the social network.

You won't be seeing these neat threaded comments everywhere though. Only profiles with more than 10,000 followers and pages will have the feature enabled at this point. (It'll also be limited to the desktop initially, with support for mobile coming "in the future.")

Want more tech news or interesting links? You'll get plenty of both if you keep up with Rosa Golijan, the writer of this post, by following her on Twitter, subscribing to her Facebook posts, or circling her on Google+.
