Biography
Daniel Zywietz is the Managing Director of Ambata Capital Middle East, an investment firm with a focus on cleantech in the Middle East and Africa. He helps clean technology startup companies to build their business, from initial strategy development and early revenue generation, through the search for partners and growth capital. He is currently helping some of the Middle East?s first cleantech startups in geothermal energy and off-grid power generation to expand across the region and beyond.

Prior to co-founding Ambata Capital Middle East, Daniel was a member of Booz & Company?s Low Carbon & Sustainability group in the Middle East and A.T. Kearney?s Utility practice in Europe. In these roles Daniel advised policymakers, governments, regulatory authorities, and private-sector institutions on low carbon & sustainability topics, leading engagements across the utilities and renewable energy sectors.

Daniel holds a master?s degree in International Business from Maastricht University and is the co-author of several studies on the potential for renewable energy in Europe and the Middle East.
